I started RCH in 2013 as a platform for producing video content that examines the convergence of art, music, culture, creativity and technology. With the constraint of limited resources, I embarked on a mission to be as creative as possible with what was available to me. In my arsenal were two entry-level DSLRs, an iPod Touch converted into a field mic (Tascam iM2 with a makeshift windscreen), one tripod, Final Cut Pro and a plethora of ideas. So I went with a simple two-camera setup, one static and one handheld, started recording, and the rest is history.
Inquiry: Taipei is an interview series that focuses on cultural identity and the exchange of ideas in Taipei City. I believe everybody has a unique story to tell, no matter where they're from and where they end up going, even if it's miles away from home.
